  • ½ cup chopped chocolate
  • 1 cup vanilla yogurt (see notes)
  • ½ cup sugar (white, brown, or sugar-free)
  • ¾ cup all-purpose flour (gluten-free, if needed)
  • ½ cup cocoa powder
  • ½ teaspoon baking soda
  • ½ cup milk of choice (I used unsweetened almond milk)
  • 1 cup chocolate chips (optional)

Instructions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 180°C/350°F. Line an 8×8-inch pan with parchment paper.
  2. In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the chopped chocolate. Let it cool for 1-2 minutes before whisking in the yogurt and sugar until smooth. Transfer to a large mixing bowl.
  3. Add the flour, cocoa powder, and baking soda to the chocolate mixture. Mix until just combined. Stir in the milk and mix well. Fold in chocolate chips if using.
  4. Pour the batter into the prepared pan and bake for 25-30 minutes, or until a skewer inserted comes out clean. Let the brownies cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.

Enjoy these guilt-free, fudgy brownies!
