At first for cooking ghee rice soak long grain basmati rice in water. .

Next melt ghee in kadai in low flame.

Now stir cashews and  raisins till they are slightly brown and plum.

Next saute cumin seed,  green cardamoms, cloves, cinnamon, bay leaf. .

After saute onion, ginger garlic paste, green chili till translucent..

Next add drained rice and quickly stir for sometime.

Finally pour water, sprinkle salt cover and cook till you get fluffy neychoru.

Finally garnish ghee rice with fried cashews, raisins, coriander leaves, black pepper powder
