Moong Dal Khichdi Recipe

For cooking moong dal khichdi , first add oil in a pan, spread it in medium flame.

Next saute soak moong dal in low flame till slightly golden brown.

After that saute whole spices for sometimes.

Next saute onion, ginger garlic, green chili till translucent.

Now saute fresh cabbage, carrots, capsicum, french bean, green peas, potatoes for sometimes.

Next add turmeric, red chili powder, garam masala and mix properly.

Finally add fried moong dal and soaked rice in the kadai.

Then pour sufficient water, sprinkle salt, turmeric then cover and cook khichdi in low flame.

Finally garnish this moong dal khichdi with butter and serve it hot with fried papad, mango pickels whatever you like.
