Dum Aloo Recipe

For cooking punjabi dum aloo recipe first gently prick parboil baby potatoes with fork.

Then coat potatoes with salt, black pepper, turmeric,chili powder.

After that fry baby potatoes in oil till crispy and golden brown.

Now saute onion toamto, ginger garlic-chili paste till translucent then add cashew nut. 

Now to make a smooth tomato-onion mixture in blender. 

After that saute whole spices in oil then pour puree., add salt, chili, garam masala, coriander, fennel seed powder.

Now pour thick  yogurt and mix properly.

Finally pour water and fried potatoes then cover and simmer in low flame. 

Finally sprinkle coriander leaves, kasuri methi and serve dum aloo hot with naan or pulao
