Ingredients

  • 1 large flour tortilla
  • 2 –3 tablespoons pizza sauce
  • cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 6 –8 slices turkey pepperoni or beef pepperoni
  • Optional: pinch of dried oregano or Italian seasoning
  • Optional: crushed red pepper flakes for heat

Instructions

Step 1: Heat the Pan

  • Preheat a nonstick skillet over medium heat so it’s hot and ready for the quesadilla.

Step 2: Assemble

  • Place your tortilla on a flat surface and spread pizza sauce over half of the tortilla. Sprinkle mozzarella cheese evenly on top of the sauce, then layer the pepperoni slices over the cheese. Add a pinch of oregano or red pepper flakes if you’d like a bit more flavor.

Step 3: Cook

  • Fold the tortilla in half to cover the filling. Place it in the hot skillet. Cook for 1–2 minutes per side, pressing down gently with a spatula, until the tortilla is golden brown and the cheese is fully melted.

Step 4: Serve

  • Remove from the skillet and place on a cutting board. Slice into wedges and serve hot.
