  • 1 14 oz can sweetened condensed milk

Step 1: Prepare the Cake Base

  • Preheat your oven according to the instructions on the cake mix package. Grease a 9×13-inch baking pan and prepare the cake batter as directed on the box. Bake until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.

Step 2: Poke and Soak

  • Once the cake has cooled for about 5 minutes, take the handle of a wooden spoon and poke holes evenly across the surface. These holes will allow the condensed milk and caramel to seep into the cake, making it extra moist and flavorful.

  • Spread the Cool Whip over the cake in a thick, even layer. This light topping balances the richness of the cake and fillings.

  • Chop Snickers bars or Reese’s cups into small bite-sized pieces and sprinkle generously over the top. For added flair, drizzle with a little extra caramel.
