Make easy Air Fryer Cinnamon Sugar Donuts with a fluffy texture and classic cinnamon flavor — no deep fryer needed!

Ingredients

Donut Batter

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • ¼ cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • ½ teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • ½ cup milk
  • 2 tablespoons melted butter
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Cinnamon Sugar Coating

  • ¼ cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 2 tablespoons melted butter for brushing

Instructions

Step 1: Preheat and Prep

  • Preheat your air fryer to 350°F. Grease your silicone donut molds lightly with nonstick spray or melted butter to prevent sticking.

Step 2: Make the Donut Batter

  • In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, cinnamon, and salt until well combined.
  • In another bowl, stir together the milk, melted butter, and vanilla extract. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry mixture and stir gently until a smooth batter forms. Avoid overmixing to keep the donuts fluffy.

Step 3: Fill the Donut Molds

  • Spoon or pipe the batter into the prepared silicone molds, filling each about three-quarters of the way full.

Step 4: Air Fry

  • Place the filled molds into the air fryer basket. Cook at 350°F for 8 minutes or until the donuts are golden brown and spring back when lightly pressed.
  • Remove the molds carefully and let the donuts cool slightly before removing them from the molds.

Step 5: Coat with Cinnamon Sugar

  • In a small bowl, mix together ¼ cup sugar and 1 teaspoon cinnamon. Brush the warm donuts lightly with melted butter, then roll each one in the cinnamon sugar mixture to coat completely.
  • Serve immediately while warm for the best flavor and texture.
