An easy, hearty Cheeseburger Tater Tot Casserole made with ground beef, bacon, cheddar cheese, and crispy tater tots. Perfect for family dinners and potlucks!

Ingredients

  • 1 lb. ground beef
  • 2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 10.5 oz cheddar cheese condensed soup
  • 8 oz sour cream
  • ¾ cup cooked and chopped bacon
  • ½ cup milk
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 32 oz frozen tater tots keep frozen

Seasonings:

  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp salt
  • ½ tsp black pepper

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350°F and grease a 9×13 baking pan with nonstick spray.
  • In a skillet over medium-high heat, cook the ground beef until browned. Drain excess grease.
  • Season the beef with Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper.
  • Stir in condensed cheddar soup, sour cream, chopped bacon, and milk until combined.
  • Pour the beef mixture into the prepared baking dish.
  • Add frozen tater tots and shredded cheddar cheese. Mix with a spatula to coat evenly.
  • Spread the mixture evenly in the pan.
  • Bake for 40–45 minutes or until bubbly and golden.
  • Serve hot and enjoy!

Notes

Do not thaw the tater tots before mixing them in—frozen tots ensure a crisp top.
You can swap cheddar for a cheese blend for added flavor.
Leftovers reheat well and are great for next-day lunches.
Add a handful of chopped pickles or diced onions for a cheeseburger twist.
