Instructions

Step 1: Preheat the Oven

  • Line a baking sheet with foil or parchment paper for easy cleanup.

Step 2: Prepare the Garlic Bread

  • Slice the ciabatta loaf in half lengthwise.
  • Spread both halves with softened butter.

  • Set aside while you cook the sloppy joe filling.

Step 3: Cook the Ground Beef

  • Drain excess fat if needed.

Step 4: Add Onion and Garlic

  • Add the diced onion and cook for 3–4 minutes until soft.
  • Stir in the garlic and cook for 30 seconds more.

Step 5: Make the Sauce

  • Stir well and bring to a simmer.
  • Let it cook for about 10 minutes until thickened and saucy.

Step 6: Assemble the Bread

  • Spoon the sloppy joe mixture evenly over each garlic bread half.
  • Top with shredded mozzarella and cheddar cheese.

Step 7: Bake

  • Place the assembled garlic breads on your prepared baking sheet.
  • Bake for 10–15 minutes, or until the cheese is fully melted and bubbly.

  • Remove from oven, let cool slightly, and slice into pieces.
  • Garnish with fresh parsley if desired and serve hot.
