A thick, chewy, and moist treat that perfectly combines sweet ripened bananas with rich chocolate chips.

semi-sweet chocolate chips

Instructions
Preheat your oven to 350°F and grease a 9x9 inch baking pan.
In a large bowl, mash the bananas until smooth.
Whisk in the melted butter, brown sugar, egg, and vanilla until well combined.
Stir in the flour, baking soda, and salt until just combined.
Fold in ¾ cup of the chocolate chips.
Spread the batter evenly into the prepared pan and sprinkle the remaining ¼ cup of chocolate chips on top.
Bake for 20–25 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean.
Cool completely in the pan before slicing into squares.
