Rich and creamy Chocolate Orange Cheesecake with a buttery graham cracker crust, dark chocolate filling, and fresh citrus zest. Easy and elegant dessert.

Ingredients

Crust:

  • 2 cups graham cracker crumbs
  • ½ cup unsalted butter melted

Filling:

  • 24 oz full-fat cream cheese softened
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup heavy whipping cream
  • 8 oz dark chocolate 60–70% cocoa, melted and slightly cooled
  • Zest and juice of 2 large oranges

Optional Garnish:

  • Orange slices
  • Chocolate shavings or melted chocolate drizzle

Instructions

Prepare the Crust:

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Mix graham cracker crumbs with melted butter until well combined.
  • Press the mixture firmly into the bottom of a springform pan.
  • Bake for 10 minutes, then let cool completely.

Make the Filling:

  • In a large bowl, beat the cream cheese until smooth and fluffy.
  • Gradually add sugar and beat until incorporated.
  • Mix in orange zest and juice.
  • Fold in melted dark chocolate.
  • Whip the heavy cream in a separate bowl until soft peaks form, then fold into the chocolate-orange cream cheese mixture.

Assemble and Chill:

  • Pour the filling into the cooled crust and smooth the top.
  • Refrigerate for at least 4 hours, preferably overnight, until set.

Garnish and Serve:

  • Before serving, top with orange slices and chocolate shavings or drizzle with melted chocolate.

Notes

Use room temperature cream cheese to prevent lumps.
Zest the oranges before juicing for easier handling.
Chill overnight for best results and firmer texture.
