These cinnamon roll French toast bites are soft, sweet, and perfect for brunch! Made with canned dough, eggs, and a vanilla custard—ready in 25 minutes.

Ingredients

  • 1 can refrigerated cinnamon rolls 12–16 oz
  • 3 large eggs
  • ¼ cup whole or 2% milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • ½ teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 2 tablespoons butter for cooking

Optional Toppings:

  • Icing packet included with rolls
  • Maple syrup
  • Powdered sugar

Instructions

Prepare the Cinnamon Rolls

  • Open the can of cinnamon rolls and cut each one into quarters. Set aside.

Make the Custard

  • In a medium bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, vanilla extract, and ground cinnamon until fully combined.

Coat the Cinnamon Roll Pieces

  • Add the cinnamon roll chunks to the bowl and gently stir until all pieces are coated in the custard mixture.

Cook the Bites

  • Heat a large skillet or griddle over medium heat. Add butter and let it melt.
  • Place the coated cinnamon roll bites onto the skillet, spacing slightly apart. Cook for 2–3 minutes per side, turning as needed, until golden brown and cooked through.

Serve & Top

  • Drizzle with the included icing packet, or top with maple syrup and a dusting of powdered sugar.
