Ingredients

  • 1 medium head cauliflower cut into bite-sized florets
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon smoked paprika optional, for a smoky flavor
  • ½ teaspoon salt or to taste
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • ¼ cup breadcrumbs panko or regular

Optional Garnish:

  • Chopped parsley
  • Lemon wedges

Instructions

Preheat the Oven

  • Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C). Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it.

Prepare the Cauliflower

  • Place the cauliflower florets in a large mixing bowl. Drizzle with olive oil and toss until evenly coated.

Season the Cauliflower

  • Sprinkle garlic powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper over the cauliflower. Toss again to distribute the seasonings evenly.

Add Parmesan and Breadcrumbs

  • In a separate bowl, mix Parmesan cheese and breadcrumbs. Sprinkle this mixture over the seasoned cauliflower and toss gently to coat without breaking up the florets.

Arrange for Roasting

  • Spread the cauliflower florets in a single layer on the baking sheet. Avoid overcrowding so they roast instead of steaming.

Roast Until Crispy

  • Bake for 25–30 minutes, flipping halfway through, until the cauliflower is golden brown and crispy on the edges.

Garnish and Serve

  • Transfer to a serving platter. Garnish with chopped parsley and a squeeze of fresh lemon juice for brightness. Serve immediately while hot and crispy.
