Creamy, savory Devil Crab Cream Cheese Ball with imitation crab, cheddar, and Cajun spices. Perfect make-ahead appetizer for any gathering.

Ingredients

  • 8 oz imitation crabmeat flakes
  • 2 8 oz packages cream cheese, softened
  • 3/4 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup finely diced white onion
  • 1 cup finely chopped celery
  • 1 lemon juiced
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 teaspoons Cajun seasoning
  • 2 teaspoons garlic powder
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon dried parsley
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper

Optional: Cocktail sauce, for serving

Instructions

Mix the Ingredients:

  • In a large mixing bowl, combine imitation crab, softened cream cheese, shredded cheddar, diced onion, chopped celery, lemon juice, Worcestershire sauce, Cajun seasoning, garlic powder, onion powder, dried parsley, salt, and black pepper. Mix until all ingredients are evenly distributed and the texture is smooth but still slightly chunky.

Shape the Cheese Ball:

  • Place a large sheet of plastic wrap on a clean plate or cutting board. Scoop the mixture into the center, then use the wrap to help shape it into a round ball. Twist the plastic wrap at the top to seal.

Chill Until Firm:

  • Refrigerate the wrapped cheese ball for at least 1–2 hours. This helps it firm up and allows the flavors to meld together. For best results, chill overnight.

Serve:

  • Unwrap the cheese ball and place it on a serving platter. Surround it with crackers, pretzels, or fresh veggie sticks.

Optional Topping:

  • For an extra flavor boost, pour cocktail sauce over the top before serving. The tangy tomato-based sauce pairs beautifully with the creamy crab filling.
