Making these in the air fryer is a total game-changer; the high-velocity air creates crispy, caramelized edges while keeping the meat underneath incredibly juicy and tender.

Ingredients

  • 1.5 lbs boneless skinless chicken thighs
  • ½ cup sweet Thai chili sauce
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp rice vinegar
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 tsp fresh ginger grated
  • ½ tsp toasted sesame oil
  • Optional: Sesame seeds and green onions for garnish

Instructions

  • In a medium bowl, whisk together the sweet chili sauce, soy sauce, rice vinegar, garlic, ginger, and sesame oil.
  • Pat the chicken thighs dry. Add them to the bowl and toss to coat thoroughly.
  • Lightly grease your air fryer basket or use a liner. Place the chicken in a single layer.
  • Air fry at 380°F (193°C) for 12–15 minutes, flipping the chicken halfway through.
  • For extra stickiness, brush on any remaining glaze from the bowl during the last 3 minutes of cooking.
  • Chicken is done when it reaches an internal temperature of 165°F and has charred, caramelized edges.
  • Serve over rice and garnish with sesame seeds and sliced green onions.
