When the holiday season arrives, there is nothing quite like the vibrant, merry colors of Festive Cranberry Feta Pinwheels to brighten up your appetizer spread. These bite-sized treats feature flaky, golden layers of puff pastry wrapped around a creamy, tangy center of cream cheese, salty feta, and earthy spinach.

Ingredients

  • 1 sheet Puff pastry thawed but cold
  • 4 oz Cream cheese softened
  • ½ cup Feta cheese crumbled
  • ½ cup Dried cranberries chopped
  • 1 cup Fresh spinach finely chopped
  • ¼ tsp Garlic powder
  • 1 Egg for egg wash

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • In a small bowl, mix the softened cream cheese, crumbled feta, and garlic powder until smooth.
  • On a lightly floured surface, roll out the puff pastry sheet into a large rectangle.
  • Spread the cheese mixture evenly over the pastry, leaving a ½-inch border at the top.
  • Sprinkle the chopped spinach and dried cranberries over the cheese layer.
  • Roll the pastry tightly starting from the long side.
  • Slice the log into 1-inch thick rounds and place them on the prepared baking sheet.
  • Brush the pastry edges with a beaten egg.
  • Bake for 15–18 minutes, or until the pastry is puffed and golden brown.
  • Allow to cool for 5 minutes before serving.
