Ingredients

For the Greek Mezze Platter

  • 1 cup hummus store-bought or homemade
  • 1 cup Greek tzatziki yogurt, cucumber, and garlic dip
  • Greek meatballs with feta cheese store-bought or homemade
  • Dolmades stuffed grape leaves
  • Kalamata olives
  • Feta cheese drizzled with olive oil and sprinkled with oregano
  • Baby cucumbers sliced
  • Fresh tomatoes halved or sliced
  • Warm pita bread cut into wedges
  • Optional Additions
  • Roasted red peppers
  • Marinated artichoke hearts
  • Falafel or grilled halloumi
  • Toasted pine nuts for garnish
  • Fresh herbs parsley, dill, or mint

Instructions

Prepare the Ingredients

  • Wash and slice the fresh vegetables.
  • Warm pita bread in the oven or skillet until soft and slightly toasted.
  • Arrange feta cheese cubes and drizzle with olive oil and oregano.
  • Prepare meatballs and dolmades if not already cooked.

Assemble the Platter

  • On a large serving board or platter, arrange the ingredients in separate sections.
  • Place dips like hummus and tzatziki in small bowls and drizzle the hummus with olive oil (optional: top with toasted pine nuts).
  • Add the meatballs, dolmades, cucumbers, tomatoes, olives, and feta.
  • Fill in the gaps with warm pita wedges and fresh herbs for color and garnish.

Serve

  • Serve immediately while the pita and meatballs are still warm. Pair with chilled white wine, sparkling water, or a refreshing citrus cocktail.

Notes

Presentation Tip: Use a large wooden board or marble platter for a rustic, inviting look.
Make Ahead: Dips, dolmades, and meatballs can be prepared up to 24 hours in advance. Assemble right before serving.
Texture Variety: Combine creamy dips, crunchy vegetables, and chewy bread for a balanced experience.
Temperature: Serve dips cold and bread/meatballs warm for contrast.
Homemade Touch: Try making your own hummus or tzatziki for maximum freshness.
