Ingredients

  • 8 oz lean ground beef
  • 8 oz spaghetti noodles
  • 1 stalk celery chopped
  • ¼ cup matchstick carrots
  • ½ tsp salt
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • ½ tsp sugar
  • 1 tsp garlic minced
  • ¼ cup red onion thinly sliced

For the Sauce:

  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tsp sesame oil
  • 1 tbsp rice cooking wine

Instructions

Step 1: Cook the Noodles

  • Bring a large pot of water to a boil. Add the spaghetti noodles and cook until al dente. Drain well and set aside.

Step 2: Brown the Beef

  • In a large skillet over medium-high heat, brown the ground beef until fully cooked. Drain excess fat.

Step 3: Stir-Fry the Veggies

  • Add the salt, sugar, soy sauce, garlic, carrots, celery, and red onion to the skillet with the beef. Sauté for 3–4 minutes until the vegetables begin to soften.

Step 4: Combine with Noodles

  • Add the cooked spaghetti to the skillet and toss to combine evenly with the beef and vegetables.

Step 5: Add the Sauce

  • In a small bowl, whisk together 1 tbsp soy sauce, 1 tsp sesame oil, and 1 tbsp rice cooking wine. Pour this sauce over the noodle mixture in the skillet. Toss well to coat everything evenly.

Step 6: Serve

  • Serve hot, optionally garnished with green onions or sesame seeds. Enjoy!
