Bringing a bowl of these Garlic Butter Beef Bites to the table is like serving an indulgent steakhouse feast with none of the effort. This recipe is a home-run for busy families, transforming lean beef into melt-in-your-mouth morsels that are lacquered in a rich, herb-infused garlic butter.

Ingredients

  • 2 lbs beef chuck roast cut into 1-inch bites
  • 1.5 lbs baby yellow potatoes halved
  • 4 tbsp unsalted butter
  • ½ cup beef broth
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 5 cloves garlic minced
  • 2 sprigs fresh rosemary
  • 1 tbsp olive oil for searing
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley chopped for garnish

Instructions

  • Sear: Heat olive oil in a large skillet over high heat. Season beef with salt and pepper, then sear until a deep-brown crust forms on all sides.
  • Layer: Place the seared beef and halved baby potatoes into the slow cooker.
  • Season: Pour in the beef broth, Worcestershire sauce, and minced garlic. Nestle the fresh rosemary sprigs among the beef.
  • Slow Cook: Cover and cook on Low for 6–8 hours (or High for 3–4 hours) until the beef and potatoes are fork-tender.
  • Finish: 30 minutes before serving, stir in the butter until melted and glossy.
  • Serve: Remove the rosemary sprigs. Garnish with plenty of fresh parsley and serve hot.
