An elegant and aromatic dessert featuring strong Earl Grey tea infused with floral lavender, blended into a creamy vanilla masterpiece.

Ingredients

  • ½ cup milk
  • 2 Earl Grey tea bags or 1 tbsp loose-leaf
  • 1 tsp dried culinary lavender buds
  • 3-4 large scoops vanilla bean ice cream
  • Optional: 1 drop natural purple food coloring
  • For Garnish:
  • Whipped cream
  • Extra lavender buds
  • 1 fresh orange slice

Instructions

  • Heat milk in a small saucepan until steaming but not boiling.
  • Add Earl Grey tea and lavender buds; remove from heat and steep for 7 minutes.
  • Strain the milk into a small jar and refrigerate until completely cold.
  • Add the chilled infusion and vanilla ice cream to a blender.
  • Blend on high until smooth. If desired, add a drop of purple food coloring to enhance the color.
  • Pour into a glass and top with whipped cream, a sprinkle of lavender, and a fresh orange slice.
