It features lean ground turkey sautéed with a vibrant medley of crisp bell peppers and sweet onions, all brought together with a savory, herb-forward seasoning.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb Ground turkey 93% lean
  • 3 Bell peppers red, yellow, and green, sliced or diced
  • 1 medium Yellow onion diced
  • 3 cloves Garlic minced
  • 1 tbsp Olive oil
  • 1 tsp Dried Italian seasoning
  • ½ tsp Salt
  • ¼ tsp Black pepper
  • 2 tbsp Fresh parsley chopped
  • Optional: A splash of chicken broth for deglazing

Instructions

  • Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  • Add the ground turkey, breaking it into crumbles, and cook until browned and no longer pink (about 5–7 minutes).
  • Add the diced onion and sliced bell peppers to the skillet.
  • Sauté for 5 minutes, stirring frequently, until the vegetables are tender-crisp.
  • Stir in the minced garlic, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Cook for 1–2 minutes until fragrant.
  • If the pan looks dry, add a splash of chicken broth or water to deglaze and stir for 30 seconds.
  • Remove from heat and stir in the fresh parsley.
  • Serve immediately while warm.
