When you're caught between wanting the chewy texture of a fudge brownie and the comforting slice of a quick bread, this Hot Fudge Brownie Bread is the ultimate solution. It is incredibly rich, featuring a deep cocoa base that is studded with melted chocolate chips and finished with a decadent, glossy fudge drizzle.

Ingredients

  • 1 ½ cups all-purpose flour
  • ½ cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ½ cup salted butter melted
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • ½ cup milk
  • ¾ cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • cup hot fudge sauce for drizzling

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F and grease a 9x5-inch loaf pan.
  • In a large bowl, whisk together the melted butter and sugar. Add the eggs one at a time, followed by the vanilla and milk.
  • In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt.
  • Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, stirring until just combined. Fold in the chocolate chips.
  • Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and smooth the top.
  • Bake for 50–55 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out with only a few moist crumbs.
  • Let the bread cool in the pan for 10 minutes.
  • Warm the hot fudge sauce until pourable and drizzle it generously over the top of the bread.
  • Transfer to a wire rack to cool completely before slicing.
