Ingredients

  • 1 cup 2 sticks unsalted butter, softened
  • ¾ cup granulated sugar
  • ¾ cup light brown sugar packed
  • 2 large eggs room temperature
  • 1 tsp pure vanilla extract
  • 2 ¼ cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • ½ tsp salt
  • 1 tbsp dried culinary lavender buds
  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • ½ cup purple chocolate morsels

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F and line two baking sheets with parchment paper.
  • In a large bowl, cream together the softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
  • Beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in the vanilla extract.
  • In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, salt, and culinary lavender.
  • Gradually add the dry ingredients to the butter mixture, stirring until just combined.
  • Fold in the chocolate chips and purple morsels by hand.
  • Scoop rounded tablespoons of dough onto the prepared baking sheets, spacing them 2 inches apart.
  • Bake for 10–12 minutes, or until the edges are lightly golden.
  • Allow the cookies to cool on the pan for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
