Bringing a burst of savory flavor to your table in just half an hour, this Sausage and Cabbage Stir Fry is the ultimate weeknight hero. This one-pan masterpiece features juicy, pan-seared sausage rounds nestled in a bed of tender-crisp, caramelized cabbage, all seasoned to perfection.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb Smoked sausage Kielbasa or similar, sliced into rounds
  • 1 medium head Green cabbage sliced into ribbons
  • 1 medium Yellow onion sliced
  • 2 cloves Garlic minced
  • 1 tbsp Olive oil
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  • Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  • Add the sausage rounds and sear for 3–4 minutes per side until golden brown. Remove sausage from the pan and set aside.
  • In the same pan, add the sliced onion and cabbage. Sauté for 8–10 minutes, stirring frequently, until the cabbage is tender and beginning to brown.
  • Stir in the minced garlic and cook for an additional 1–2 minutes until fragrant.
  • Return the sausage to the skillet and toss everything together to heat through.
  • Season with salt and black pepper to taste.
  • Garnish with fresh parsley and serve immediately.
