When the morning rush is in full swing and the kids are asking for something special, this Sweet Frozen Waffle Grilled Breakfast Cheese Sandwich is my absolute secret weapon. It’s a brilliant mashup of a classic grilled cheese and a fruity toaster pastry, offering that perfect balance of crispy, buttery waffles and a warm, creamy center.

Ingredients

  • 2 frozen buttermilk waffles
  • 2 tbsp cream cheese softened
  • 1 tbsp raspberry jam or preserves
  • 1 tbsp salted butter

Instructions

  • Spread the softened cream cheese evenly onto one side of the first frozen waffle.
  • Spread the raspberry jam over the cream cheese.
  • Place the second waffle on top to form a sandwich.
  • Melt the butter in a small skillet over medium-low heat.
  • Place the waffle sandwich in the skillet. Cook for 3–4 minutes until the bottom is golden brown and crispy.
  • Flip the sandwich carefully and cook the other side for another 2–3 minutes.
  • Remove from the heat when the waffles are toasted and the filling is warm and melted.
  • Slice in half and serve immediately.
