Make this crispy, cheesy Longhorn Steakhouse Parmesan Chicken at home—juicy chicken, bold flavor, and a perfect garlic-Parmesan crust!

Ingredients

Chicken

  • 4 boneless skinless chicken breasts
  • ½ cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 large eggs
  • ¼ cup milk
  • 1 cup bread crumbs
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil

Topping

  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese

Instructions

Step 1: Preheat and Prepare

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Lightly grease a baking dish and set it aside.
  • Prepare three separate shallow dishes:
  • Dish 1: Add the flour.
  • Dish 2: Whisk together the eggs and milk.
  • Dish 3: Mix the bread crumbs, half of the Parmesan cheese, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.

Step 2: Bread the Chicken

  • Pat the chicken breasts dry with a paper towel. Dredge each one in the flour first, then dip in the egg mixture, and finally press into the breadcrumb-Parmesan coating until fully covered.

Step 3: Sear for Crispiness

  • Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Cook each chicken breast for 3–4 minutes per side, or until golden brown and crispy. Transfer them to the prepared baking dish.

Step 4: Add the Cheesy Topping

  • In a small bowl, mix the shredded mozzarella, minced garlic, and remaining Parmesan cheese. Spoon the mixture evenly over each chicken breast.

Step 5: Bake to Perfection

  • Place the baking dish in the oven and bake for 20–25 minutes, or until the chicken is fully cooked through and the cheese is melted and bubbly.
