Make this easy peanut butter mousse with cream cheese and whipped cream for a rich, fluffy no-bake dessert perfect for any season.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup smooth peanut butter
  • 1 cup cream cheese softened
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 cup heavy cream

Instructions

Blend the Base

  • In a large mixing bowl, combine the peanut butter, softened cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract if desired. Beat with a stand mixer or hand mixer until smooth, creamy, and free of lumps. Set aside while you prepare the whipped cream.

Whip the Cream

  • In a separate bowl, pour the cold heavy cream. Start mixing on low speed, then increase to medium-high until stiff peaks form. Whipping the cream separately ensures the mousse stays light and airy when you fold it all together.

Combine

  • Gently beat about ¼ of the whipped cream into the peanut butter mixture to lighten it. Then fold in another half of the whipped cream, mixing just until combined. Finally, fold in the remaining whipped cream until fully incorporated. This method keeps the mousse fluffy and gives it that signature airy texture.

Pipe and Chill

  • Transfer the mousse to a piping bag fitted with a decorative tip if you like, or simply spoon it into serving jars or glasses. Pipe or layer the mousse evenly among 8 jars or dessert cups. You can enjoy it immediately for a softer mousse or refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to let it firm up slightly before serving.
