A vibrant hibiscus tea strawberry-lemonade refresher made with fresh fruit, lemon juice & maple syrup. Refreshing, healthy, and perfect for summer!

Ingredients

  • 2 cups water
  • 2 hibiscus tea bags or 2 tbsp dried hibiscus flowers
  • ½ cup strawberries
  • ¼ cup freshly squeezed lemon juice
  • 2 –3 tbsp maple syrup or substitute honey, agave, or sugar

Optional Garnishes

  • Extra sliced strawberries
  • Lemon slices
  • Fresh mint leaves

Instructions

Make the Hibiscus Tea

  • Bring 2 cups water to a boil. Remove from heat.
  • Steep hibiscus tea bags (or dried flowers) for 5–7 minutes.
  • Remove tea bags (or strain flowers) and let tea cool.

Make the Strawberry Puree

  • Wash and slice strawberries.
  • Blend with ¼ cup cooled hibiscus tea until smooth.
  • Optional: Strain through a fine mesh sieve for a silky texture.

Combine & Adjust

  • In a large pitcher, mix the remaining hibiscus tea, strawberry puree, lemon juice, and maple syrup.
  • Stir well and taste—adjust sweetness or tartness as needed.

Serve & Garnish

  • Pour over ice.
  • Garnish with lemon slices, fresh strawberries, and mint leaves.
