A decadent, fruit-filled breakfast treat featuring soft brioche dough, fresh strawberry swirls, and a rich cheesecake frosting.

Ingredients

  • 1 batch enriched yeast dough standard 4-cup flour recipe
  • ½ cup strawberry jam
  • 1.5 cups fresh strawberries finely diced
  • ¼ cup granulated sugar mixed with 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 4 oz cream cheese softened (for filling)
  • cup heavy cream to pour over rolls
  • For the Cheesecake Frosting:
  • 4 oz cream cheese softened
  • ¼ cup unsalted butter softened
  • 1.5 cups powdered sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • Extra strawberries and graham cracker crumbs for garnish

Instructions

  • Roll out risen dough into a 12x18 inch rectangle.
  • Spread with softened butter, then layer on the strawberry jam.
  • Sprinkle with cinnamon sugar and diced strawberries. Dollop small bits of softened cream cheese over the berries.
  • Roll tightly and cut into 12 even rolls. Place in a greased 9x13 baking dish.
  • Cover and let rise in a warm spot for 45 minutes until doubled.
  • Preheat oven to 350°F. Pour heavy cream over the top of the risen rolls.
  • Bake for 22–26 minutes until lightly golden.
  • Whisk together frosting ingredients until smooth.
  • Frost the rolls while still warm. Top with fresh strawberry slices and graham cracker crumbs.
