How to make buttermilk

  • At first pour one cup of milk of your choice into a bowl.
  • Next add one tablespoon of lemon juice or white vinegar. Alternatively, you can use 3 teaspoons of lemon juice or white vinegar.
  • Stir the mixture and let it sit for 5-10 minutes until it thickens and curdles.
