These Air Fryer Roasted Potatoes are crispy outside, fluffy inside, and ready in just 25 minutes. An easy, healthier side dish perfect for any meal!

Ingredients

  • pounds potatoes cut into 1-inch pieces
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • ½ teaspoon smoked paprika
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder or granules
  • ¾ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon ground black pepper

Instructions

Season the potatoes:

  • In a large bowl, toss the chopped potatoes with olive oil, smoked paprika, garlic, salt, and pepper until evenly coated.

Air fry:

  • Place seasoned potatoes in the air fryer basket. Set the temperature to 380°F (195°C) and cook for 10 minutes.

Flip and finish:

  • Use tongs to flip the potatoes and roast for an additional 10 minutes or until golden and crisp on the outside and fork-tender inside.

Serve:

  • Remove from the air fryer, garnish with chopped parsley or cilantro if desired, and serve hot with your favorite dipping sauce.

Notes

For extra crispiness, preheat the air fryer for 5 minutes before adding the potatoes.
Soak starchy potatoes in cold water for 10–15 minutes before cooking to remove excess starch and enhance crispness.
Avoid shaking the air fryer basket to flip—use tongs to keep the potatoes intact.
