Ingredients

  • 300 grams potatoes
  • 150 to 200 ml oil
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon black salt
  • 1 teaspoon chat masala
  • 1/2 teaspoon red chilli powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon cumin powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon red chilli flakes
  • 2 teaspoon lemon juice
  • 2 to 3 tablespoon curd
  • 2 tablespoon green chutney[optional]
  • 2 tablespoon tamarind chutney[optionl]
  • 2 tablespoon chopped coriander leaves
  • 3 to 4 tablespoon bhujia or sev

Instructions

  • At first, for preparing aloo chaat wash potatoes, cut them into quarter shapes then parboil them in a pressure cooker for up to 3 to 4 whistles.
  • When potatoes become cool a little bit peel them and set them aside for later usage.
  • Now, frying also heats oil in a frying pan then place potatoes one by one on oil and fry them on medium to high flame.
  • When both sides of the potatoes become golden brown and crispy turn the flame off.
  • Immediately placed these crispy fried potatoes on kitchen tissue to drain excess oil.
  • Now for assembling aloo chaat pour these fried potatoes into a large mixing bowl.
  • Then sprinkle some black salt, red chili powder, white salt, and cumin powder.
  • Also sprinkle chaat masala powder, red chili flakes, and half a teaspoon of amchur powder.
  • After that, sprinkle a few teaspoons of lemon juice on the potatoes and mix them.
  • Next plate this spicy aloo chaat on a serving plate.
  • Then for garnishing aloo chaat pour curd on top of it.
  • If you have tamarind chutney and green chutney available you can sprinkle now otherwise leave it.
  • Furthermore, sprinkle sev or bhujia and freshly chopped coriander leaves on top of it,
