how to make aloo gobi
At first for preparing aloo gobi recipe to parboil cauliflower or gobi and potatoes for some time.
Besides, chopped onions, tomatoes, ginger garlic, and green chili.
Now for the cooking base of aloo gobi dry heat oil in a pan.
Sprinkle cumin seeds, saute them till splutter.
Next, add chopped ginger garlic, and chopped green chillies, saute them another 1 min.
After that add chopped onion, saute the onions in medium to low flame till translucent, it takes approximately 4 to 5 min.
Now add 2 medium size chopped tomatoes, saute for another 8 to 9 min till tomatoes become mushy and cooked properly.
Now for cooking aloo gobhi ki sabji add parboiled cauliflower and stir fry the mixture for another 4 to 5 min.
Also, add parboiled potatoes and stir fry in the mixture for another 3 to 4 min.
At this stage add a few teaspoons of turmeric powder, coriander powder,garam masala powder, and red chili powder.
Now mix all the spices then cover the pan with a lid and cook this aloo gobi sabji for another 10 to 15 min until potatoes are soft and cauliflower are crunchy.
For additional flavour don't forget to sprinkle salt to taste, and 1 tablespoon kasuri methi, coriander leaves.
Finally, our aloo gobhi ki sabji is completed serve it hot with roti, paratha.
