Ingredients

For the Sausage Gravy:

  • 1 package 16 oz breakfast sausage
  • ¼ cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 cups milk
  • Ground black pepper to taste

For the Pizza Base:

  • 1 pre-baked pizza crust 12-inch
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil optional

For the Eggs:

  • Cooking spray
  • 6 eggs
  • ¼ cup milk

For the Topping:

  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese or more if desired

Instructions

Step 1: Prepare the Sausage Gravy

  • In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the sausage until fully browned, about 5 to 7 minutes. Drain excess grease. Sprinkle the flour over the sausage, stirring to incorporate. Gradually pour in the milk while stirring to avoid lumps. Simmer for about 10 minutes, or until the gravy thickens. Season with black pepper to taste. Set aside.

Step 2: Preheat the Oven and Prep the Crust

  • Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Place the pre-baked pizza crust on a baking sheet or pizza stone. Brush with olive oil for added crispiness, if desired.

Step 3: Cook the Eggs

  • Spray a skillet with cooking spray and heat over medium-high. Whisk the eggs with ¼ cup of milk in a bowl, then scramble them in the skillet until just set. Remove from heat.

Step 4: Assemble the Pizza

  • Spread half of the prepared sausage gravy over the crust. Evenly layer the scrambled eggs on top. Sprinkle with shredded cheddar cheese.

Step 5: Bake the Pizza

  • Bake for 10 to 15 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly and the crust is golden.

  • Let the pizza cool slightly before slicing. Serve warm and enjoy your breakfast in pizza form.
