how to make chicken korma
At first, for marination chicken korma, add 500 gm bone-in chicken in a large mixing bowl.
Then add black pepper powder, salt, Kashmiri red chili powder, turmeric powder,garam masala powder.
Also add a tbsp oil, thick yoghurt or hung curd and ginger-garlic paste.
Now mix everything and set aside this mixture in the refrigerator for at least 30 min to 45 min.
Now to prepare smooth korma sauce heat oil in a pan in medium flame.
Then add slice onion and fry them until slightly golden brown.
After that add chopped cashew nut, almond saute them for 2 minutes.
Also add a few tbsp of curd, water and a tsp of kashmiri red chili powder in this mixture and saute them for another min.
Finally, turn off the flame and cool this nut onion mixture for some time.
Then pour this mixture into a blender and make a smooth nut-onion paste for chicken korma.
Now to prepare authentic indian chicken korma curry pour oil in a pan and spread it evenly in medium flame.
Then add some whole spices including bay leaf, green cardamom, cinnamon, clove and green chili, saute them for a min in medium flame.
Next, add marinated chicken and cook them in medium flame up to 4 to 5 min then add korma sauce and mix with chicken pieces.
After that, pour some water, salt,Kashmiri red chili powder, coriander powder, garam masala powder, turmeric powder.Mix everything.
Now cover this pan with a lid and cook this chicken korma curry until chicken becomes tender.
Finally garnish chicken kurma with chopped coriander leaves and serve hot with chicken biryani,egg biryani or garlic naan.
