Ingredients

  • 6 ounces tomato paste
  • 15 ounces tomato sauce
  • 1 –2 tablespoons dried oregano to taste
  • 2 tablespoons Italian seasoning
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon onion powder
  • ½ tablespoon garlic salt or sub ¼ tsp garlic powder + ½–1 tsp sea salt
  • ¼ teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon sugar or honey; optional

Instructions

  • In a medium bowl, whisk together tomato paste and tomato sauce until smooth.
  • Add oregano, Italian seasoning, garlic powder, onion powder, garlic salt, pepper, and sugar. Stir to combine evenly.
  • Taste the sauce and adjust seasoning as needed.
  • Use immediately on your favorite pizza dough, or store for later use.

Notes
