This Thai Iced Tea is the ultimate creamy, spiced indulgence that brings the vibrant flavors of your favorite local Thai bistro right into your own kitchen. There is something mesmerizing about that iconic gradient of deep amber tea meeting a velvet-like pour of sweetened condensed milk.

Ingredients

  • ½ cup Thai Tea loose-leaf mix
  • 2 cups Boiling water
  • 2 tbsp Granulated sugar adjust to taste
  • 2 tbsp Sweetened condensed milk
  • 2 tbsp Evaporated milk for topping
  • Plenty of crushed ice

Instructions

  • Add the Thai tea mix to a heat-proof pitcher and pour in the boiling water.
  • Let the tea steep for 5–6 minutes.
  • Stir in the sugar while the tea is still hot until fully dissolved.
  • Strain the mixture through a fine-mesh sieve or cloth filter into a clean jar.
  • Allow the tea to cool, then refrigerate until cold.
  • Fill two tall glasses with crushed ice.
  • Pour the chilled tea over the ice, leaving room at the top.
  • Drizzle 1 tablespoon of sweetened condensed milk into each glass, followed by a splash of evaporated milk.
  • Serve with a straw and stir just before drinking.
