Nothing warms the soul quite like a tray of freshly made treats, and these Easy Butterfinger Balls are the ultimate "no-bake" hero for your next gathering. This recipe takes that iconic, crispety-crunchety peanut butter center we all love and transforms it into a decadent, bite-sized truffle draped in a smooth, silky chocolate shell.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb approx. 3 cups Butterfinger bars, finely crushed (reserve ¼ cup for topping)
  • 8 oz cream cheese softened to room temperature
  • ½ cup creamy peanut butter
  • 12 oz chocolate melting wafers or semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1 tsp coconut oil optional, for a shinier chocolate finish

Instructions

  • In a large mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese and peanut butter until light and fluffy.
  • Fold in the finely crushed Butterfinger bars until the mixture is well-combined and holds together.
  • Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Scoop 1-tablespoon portions and roll them into smooth balls.
  • Place the tray in the freezer for 30–45 minutes until the balls are very firm.
  • Melt the chocolate wafers (and coconut oil, if using) in the microwave in 30-second increments, stirring until smooth.
  • Using a fork, dip each chilled ball into the chocolate, letting the excess drip off.
  • Place back on the parchment paper and immediately top with the reserved crushed candy.
  • Refrigerate for at least 15 minutes or until the chocolate is completely set.
