  • Paneer
  • 1 muslin cloth
  • Luke warm water

Instructions

  • How to store paneer for a long time
  • At first place the large paneer blocks on a plate.
  • Then wrap the paneer block by a slightly wet muslin cloth.
  • It prevents the dryness of paneer and keeps the moisture intact.
  • If you don't want to use paneer blocks immediately then re-wet the muslin clothe in every 6 hours.
  • As refrigerator sucks moisture, in this way, moisture intacts in paneer and it stays fresh.
  • If you have store bought packaged paneer then keep it as it is in freezer.
  • Before cooking paneer dishes open the packet and soak the paneer cubes in a luke warm water for at least 15 mins.
  • In this way, hard and rubbery packaged paneer cubes becomes soft and spongy.

Storing Paneer Note

  1. If you don't have musline cloth at your home then soak those paneer blocks in water and close it with the top and keep this in the refregerator.
  2. If you need to keep the paneer moist and fresh for 3 to 4 days just change the water every day until you use.
