This Mango Crumble is a sweet, tangy, and buttery dessert made with fresh mangoes and a crisp oat topping. An easy crowd-pleaser for any occasion!

Ingredients

Filling

  • 4 cups fresh mango peeled and diced
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • ¼ cup granulated sugar

Crumble Topping

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • ½ cup rolled oats
  • ½ cup brown sugar
  • ½ tsp cinnamon
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • ½ cup unsalted butter cold and cubed

Instructions

Preheat Oven:

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).

Prepare the Filling:

  • In a mixing bowl, combine diced mango, lemon juice, and granulated sugar. Spread the mixture evenly in a greased baking dish.

Make the Crumble:

  • In another bowl, mix together flour, oats, brown sugar, cinnamon, and salt. Add cold butter and cut it in using a pastry cutter or your fingers until it resembles coarse crumbs.

Assemble:

  • Sprinkle the crumble evenly over the mango filling.

Bake:

  • Bake for 35–40 minutes, or until the topping is golden and the mango filling is bubbling.

Serve:

  • Let cool slightly. Serve warm with ice cream or whipped cream if desired.

Notes

Use ripe mangoes for best flavor—Ataulfo, Kent, or Honey mangoes are great.
Press the crumble lightly into the fruit before baking for extra crunch.
Add a pinch of cardamom or nutmeg for extra depth.
