  • 300 grams whole wheat flour [atta]
  • 1 tbsp salt[adjust if required]
  • 5 tbsp oil
  • Water required for knead the dough
  • 4 tbsp butter
  • 200 grams paneer
  • 50 grams grated cheese
  • 2 green chili [chopped]
  • 3 tbsp chopped coriander leaves
  • 1/2 tsp red chili powder
  • 1/2 tsp garam masala powder
  • 1/2 tsp coriander powder
  • 1/2 tsp roasted cumin powder
  • 1/4 tsp amchur powder

  • First, to make the paneer paratha recipe we need to create the dough, for this add wheat flour, salt, and ghee in a large mixing bowl.
  • A quick mix of everything.
  • Now pour water in intervals and knead the dough thoroughly until it becomes soft and non-sticky.
  • After that apply a tablespoon of oil to the top of the dough, and rest it for at least 30 min.
  • Now for making stuffing for paneer paratha, add grated paneer, and chopped green chilli in a mixing bowl.
  • Also sprinkle half a teaspoon of red chili powder, garma masala powder, amchur powder, black salt, cumin powder, coriander powder, and grated cheese, and mix all of the spices.
  • Now for filling cut the dough into equal sizes and make a circular ball inside deep.
  • Then add the paneer stuffing mixture in it.
  • Bring the edges together and sealed it properly by adding a
    little water.
  • Now dust some flour on a table and gently roll the paratha using
    rolling pin in a medium thick circular shape.
  • Make sure stuffing doesn't come out from paratha.
  • Then transfer this paneer paratha on a hot griddle or Tawa.
  • Cook both sides of paratha for 1 min in medium-high flame.
  • Now apply butter on both sides of the paratha, gently press them with a spatula and cook until golden brown spots are visible on the paratha.

  1. Don't make parathas in low flame because it will become hard and chewy.
