Preparation for kanda poha
At first for preparing poha recipe in a pan melt ghee or clarified butter on low flame.
Next, saute cashews and peanuts in low flame until they become slightly golden and crunchy.
Besides, also boil potatoes and cut them into small pieces.
Tempering for kanda batata poha
Now temper spices for kanda batata poha in a pan heat oil then saute mustard seed, cumin seed , pinch of hing in low flame till the crackling sound of mustard seed.

How to make poha
Now to cook poha recipe in a large bowl put a strainer then add thick poha or flattened rice.
After that rinse the poha well with water, drain all of the water immediately, otherwise they will absorb a lot of water and become mushy.
Next sprinkle lemon juice, salt and gently mix with lift and drop method.
