Making dough for momo
In a large bowl pour maida mix maida, salt and oil.
Then sprinkle water in parts and knead to make a firm dough.
Finally, apply oil and cover the dough with a moist towel and rest for 30 minutes.
Making stuffing for veg momos
For preparing to stuff for veg momos first heat oil in a pan then saute chopped onions ginger garlic paste, and chopped green chili in medium flame for sometimes till translucent.
Next add grated carrots, chopped capsicum, grated cabbage and chopped french beans and stir fry on medium to high heat for 3 to 4 min.
You can also sprinkle water then cover and cook veggies on medium to low flame.
Furthermore sprinkle freshly chopped coriander leaves, red chili powder, black pepper and salt.
At the end pour soy sauce, and vinegar. continue to stir fry on a medium to high flame and our vegetable stuffing is ready.
How to make veg momos
Now for making veg momos place the dough on a plate, and divide it into an equal circular ball, you can roll with the palm
First, apply dusted flour on the board then using a rolling pin make a thin circle of 3-inch diameter from that dough ball.
Now pour vegetable stuffing in the centre and apply water at the edges of the circle with your fingertip or with a small pastry brush.
Next, lift one side of the edge and start pleating the momos finally join all the pleats in the centre just like modok.
Now for steaming veg momos first grease a steamer pan with some oil or you can place a large cabbage leaf on it.
Next arrange the veg momos in the pan, cover and steam for 7 to 10 minutes till the outer dough becomes transparent.
Finally, our veg momos recipe is completed serve it hot with momo chutney.
