This delicious veg noodles recipe is a popular indo chinese dish. Hakka noodles recipe are made with stir-fried noodles, and various mixed vegetables and seasoned with soy sauce and some aromatic spices.

Ingredients

Ingredients for hakka noodles

  • 200 gram hakka noodles
  • 1.5 liter water
  • 1/2 teaspoon oil
  • 3 tablespoon salt

  • 3 tablespoon oil
  • 1 tablespoon finely chopped ginger- garlic
  • 1 large size chopped onions
  • 3 chopped green chili
  • 8 thinly sliced french beans
  • 1 thinly sliced carrots
  • 1 thinly sliced capsicum
  • 200 grams shredded cabbage
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce [ increase as required ]
  • Tomato ketchup [ Use as per your need ]
  • 1 teaspoon crushed pepper
  • pinch of salt

Instructions

  • Making veg noodles
  • At first for making veg noodles boil water along with salt, oil.
  • Next, add hakka noodles and cook till al-dente.
  • Then drain the cooked noodles in a colander and rinse the noodles with fresh water.
  • Apply oil first tossed the hakka noodles and then rest them for some time.
  • How to make hakka noodles
  • At first rinse and chop or shred veggies including cabbage, carrots, french beans, capsicum, onion chopped, ginger garlic and green chili.
  • Heat oil in a pan and first saute chopped ginger-garlic for some time.
  • Then cook chopped onions and chopped green chili till translucent.
  • Furthermore add sliced french beans, sliced carrots, sliced capsicum, and shredded cabbage then stir fry for 2 to 3 minutes on medium to high heat.
  • Now continue to toss and stir fry on medium to high heat until the veggies are almost cooked.
  • Next, add soy sauce. Mix well.
  • Finally add cooked hakka noodles, pinch of salt, crushed pepper, soy sauce as required.
  • Now mix with hakka noodles and our homemade veg hakka noodles recipe is completed. Serve it immediately by topping tomato ketchup.

Notes

Veg noodles recipe note

  1. Make sure you serve hakka noodles immediately after preparing otherwise it will lose the taste.
  2. Make sure you finely chopped veggies because it is necessary for veggies to cook properly in less time.
  3. Though i don't use it yet if you want authentic Chinese flavour in your hakka noodles you can use sesame oil, celery and rice vinegar or rice wine.
