1. Soak white rice in water.

1. Cook rice grains till tender and fluffy. 

1. Cool rice at room temperature.

1.  Roast peanut and cashew in butter till crunchy. 

1. Prepare tempering by sauteing dal and spices. 

1. Add cool cooked rice and gently mix.

1. Finally add fried nuts on lemon rice.  

1. Squeeze lemon juice and cover chitranna rice  for 5 minutes to get flavor.
