These No-Bake Oreo Balls are a quick and easy treat that require just four simple ingredients! Made without cream cheese or sweetened condensed milk, they’re perfect for any occasion and make a fancy dessert without all the fuss.

Ingredients

  • 30 regular Oreo cookies (340g)
  • 3 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted and slightly cooled (45g)
  • 2 to 5 tablespoons milk
  • 8 ounces dark, semi-sweet, or white chocolate, about 1½ cups chopped (225g)
  • 1 teaspoon vegetable oil (optional)

Instructions

  1. Prep the Baking Sheet: Line a medium-sized baking sheet with parchment paper and set aside.
  2. Crush the Oreos: In a large food processor, add the Oreos (filling included) and pulse until they become fine crumbs.
  3. Mix with Butter and Milk: Add the melted butter and 2 tablespoons of milk to the Oreo crumbs. Pulse again until the mixture is well moistened and can hold together without crumbling. If needed, add more milk, one tablespoon at a time.
  4. Form the Balls: Scoop out tablespoon-sized portions of the mixture and roll them into smooth balls between your hands. Place them on the parchment-lined baking sheet. If the mixture is too crumbly, blend in more milk. If it’s too sticky, drop the portions onto the sheet and chill in the freezer for 10-15 minutes until firm enough to roll.
  5. Chill the Balls: Once all the balls are rolled, chill them in the freezer for at least 15 minutes until firm.
  6. Melt the Chocolate: Melt the chocolate using your preferred method:
    • Microwave: Place chopped chocolate in a microwave-safe bowl and heat in 10-second bursts, stirring after each, until melted and smooth.
    • Stovetop: In a pot, bring an inch of water to a light simmer. Place chocolate in a heat-safe bowl over the pot, stirring frequently until melted.
  7. Dip the Oreo Balls: If using, mix the vegetable oil into the melted chocolate and let it cool slightly for about 5 minutes. Dip each Oreo ball into the chocolate, using a fork to coat it, then gently shake off excess chocolate.
  8. Finish and Chill: Place the chocolate-dipped Oreo ball back on the baking sheet. You can leave them plain or sprinkle with flaky sea salt or crushed Oreo crumbs while the chocolate is still wet. Drizzle with additional chocolate once set.
  9. Store: Chill the Oreo balls in the fridge or freezer until the chocolate is set. Store in the refrigerator until ready to serve!

Enjoy these indulgent no-bake Oreo balls as a sweet treat for any gathering!
