Tips to make pasta in white sauce recipe

 

  • Cheesy Pasta Sauce : While cooking white pasta sauce, pour maida and milk in intervals and whisk them continuously to avoid forming any lumps from it.

 

  • Cooking Pasta : If you use penne pasta boil them only sharp for 8 min till al-dante, for other types of pasta including spaghetti, Marconi, and fusilli it is usually mentioned on the pasta packed.

 

  • Secret Flavor : To increase flavour in this white sauce pasta recipe we add mixed herbs including thyme, rosemary, basil, oregano, a pinch of black pepper, and a few teaspoons of red chili flakes.

How to make white sauce pasta

Here, the complete recipe of pasta in white sauce preparation is classified into three simple categories first one is cooking vegetables,

the second one is cooking penne pasta and the last one is making white sauce pasta.

so, let’s make it now.

 

Cooking Vegetables 

 

1. Heat 4 tbsp oil in a pan.

2. When the oil is hot enough add 4 tbsp chopped carrots,4 tbsp chopped capsicum, and 3 tbsp green peas.

3. Quick saute them in medium flame for up to 3 to 4 min until it becomes crunchy and retains its flavour.

Cooking Penne Pasta

 

1. Now, boiling pasta pour water in a deep bottom pan or kadhai.

2. Sprinkle a teaspoon of salt and let it boil for some time.

3. When water comes to a boil add penne pasta and a dash of oil to it.

4. Let them boil for approximately 8 min till al-dante.

5. When pasta is cooked drain in a colander and transfer them to the large plate for later usage.

Making White Sauce Pasta

 

1. Now making pasta in the white sauce add 4 tablespoons of butter and melt it on low flame.

2.Then add 1 tbsp chopped garlic, saute them for 1 min on low flame.

3. Next add 4 tbsp all-purpose flour or maida in batches.

4. Mix it properly with butter and garlic without making any lumps.

5. Furthermore, pour 500 ml milk in batches and cook for 8 o 10 min in medium to low flame.

6. At this stage white sauce becomes thick and free-flowing consistency, sprinkle 2 tsp salt in it.

7. Also sprinkle 1 tsp black pepper, 2 tsp red chili flakes, 2 tsp mixed herbs.

8. Mix all of the ingredients together.

9. After that, add boiled penne pasta in this white pasta sauce,

10. Mix them properly for 2 to 3 min on low flame.

Ingredients

White Sauce Pasta Ingredients

  • 500 ml milk
  • 4 tbsp butter
  • 4 tbsp maida or all-purpose flour
  • 350 to 400 grams Penne Pasta
  • 1 tbsp chopped garlic
  • 4 tbsp chopped carrot
  • 4 tbsp chopped capsicum
  • 3 tbsp green peas
  • 2 to 3 tbsp oil
  • 1 tsp black pepper
  • 2 tsp salt
  • 2 tsp red chili flakes
  • 2 tsp mixed herbs
  • 1- liter water to Boil Pasta
  • 3 to 4 tbsp grated cheese for garnish

  • At first, for cooking vegetables, in a pan heat a few tablespoons of oil and saute chopped carrot, green peas, and capsicum.
  • Make sure veggies don't be mushy cook them for only 3 to 4 min in
    medium to low flame.
  • Next transfer these fried veggies to a separate plate for later usage.
  • Now, for cooking pasta pour water into a Kadai or deep bottom pan
  • Sprinkle a teaspoon of salt, mix it properly and let it boil for some time.
  • When water comes to a boil add penne pasta and a dash of oil in it.
  • Let them cook till al-dante for approximately 8 min.
  • At this stage, pasta is cooked, drain the water in a colander and transfer them into a large plate for later usage.
  • Now for making pasta in white sauce add a few tablespoons of butter and melt it on low flame.
  • After that add a tablespoon of chopped garlic and saute on low flame for 2 to 3 min.
  • Then add maida or all-purpose flour in batches.
  • Continuously whisk to avoid forming any lumps in white sauce for pasta.
  • Furthermore, pour milk in it and whisk everything on low flame for another 5 to 8 min.
  • At this stage, your white sauce becomes slightly thick, creamy free flowing consistency.
  • Now sprinkle a teaspoon of black pepper, and salt and mix herbs including oregano, thyme, basil, and rosemary.
  • Next add boiled penne pasta and fried vegetables to this creamy white sauce.
  • Now mix all of them together for another 2 to 3 min on low flame.
  • Finally serve this creamy white sauce pasta immediately by garnishing grated cheese on top of it.

  1. After preparing pasta serve them immediately as hot, otherwise white pasta sauce becomes thicken quickly.
