Here the complete preparation of the Indian chilli paneer recipe is classified into three simple categories

1. At first we do simple marination for chilli paneer recipe for this in a medium-size bowl add 3 tbsp cornflour powder.

6. Finally, add 200 to 250 gm fresh paneer cube or Indian cottage cheese in a mixing bowl.

1. Now frying paneer for chilli paneer recipe, heat 3 tbsp oil and spread them evenly in the pan.

Note: if you want to use butter instead of oil you can add 2 tbsp butter and melt on low flame.

2. Then, add coated paneer and fry them on medium to low flame for up toย 1-2 min.

Spicy chilli paneer sauce

1. Now, for preparing the spicy sauce for the chilli paneer gravy recipe, in a small bowl add 1 tsp red chilli powder.

How to make chilli paneer dry

1. Now, for making chilli paneer dry recipe heat 3 tbsp oil in the same pan on low flame and spread it evenly.

2. Then, add 1 tbsp ginger-garlic paste or chopped and salute for 1 min without burning in low flame until itโ€™s raw smell goes away.

3. Next, add 1 medium size layer of separated onions.

4. 1 square cut capsicum.

5. 2 to 3 vertically sliced green chili.

Note : at this stage add a little water to the sauce unless your sauce may burn.

8. Now stir gently in medium to low flame for up to 2 to 3 min.

11. Next add a little water and check the taste of salt and sauce, if requires then add it.

Marinating Ingredients For Chilli Paneer

  • 3 tbsp corn flour or corn starch
  • 3 tbsp all purpose flour or maida
  • 1 tsp kashmiri red chili powder or lal mirch powder.
  • 1 tsp black pepper powder or kali mirch powder.
  • 200 to 250 gm paneer cube or indian cottage cheese.
  • 1/6th tsp salt [adjust as per requirement].
  • 1 to 2 tbsp water.

Other Chilli Paneer Ingredients

  • 5 to 6 tbsp oil [adjust as per need]
  • 1 medium-size onion layer separated
  • 1 medium-size capsicum or simla mirch [square cut]
  • 2-3 green chilies or hari mirch sliced vertically.
  • 1 tbsp finely chopped ginger-garlic paste.
  • 3 to 4 tbsp red chili sauce.[adjust as per need].
  • 1 tbsp soya sauce.
  • 1 tbsp vinegar.
  • salt to taste.
  • ยฝ to 1 tsp sugar.[adjust as per need]
  • 1 to 1 ยฝ cup water as per need.
  • 3 tbsp spring onions.

Instructions

    How to make chilli paneer

    1. First, for preparing restaurant style chilli paneer recipe, In a small bowl add corn flour, maida, red chili powder, black pepper powder, salt, and sprinkle a little water.
    2. Now, add a fresh paneer cube to the bowl and coat evenly.
    3. After that, heat oil in a pan and gently fry coated
      paneer cube in medium to low flame.
    4. Now, frying up to 2 minutes flip them and fry another part
      till it becomes slightly golden brown.
    5. When both sides become slightly golden brown take out the fried paneer from the pan and drain off the excess oil in kitchen tissue.
    6. Now, for preparing dry paneer chilli, in the same pan, heat oil and saute ginger garlic paste until itโ€™s raw smell is gone.
    7. Then, add a layer of the separated onion, square cutting capsicum, and green chilli and saute them in medium flame till the layer of the onion becomes slightly golden.
    8. Furthermore, add chilli paneer sauce which is a mixture of vinegar, red chilli sauce, soy sauce, black pepper, and red chilli powder.
    9. Now, pour the cornflower with water mixture into the pan and stir them very well at high temperatures.
    10. Add salt as per requirement.
    11. Now, to prepare chilli paneer to dry just cook till the chilli gravy sauce thickness.
    12. If you want chilli paneer gravy then add a little water and proportionally increase the sauce and salt amount.
    13. Next, add fried paneer to this chilli gravy mix them well, and left it for simmer 2-3 min for good flavour.
