How to make shahi paneer recipe restaurant style
ย
Here the complete recipe for shahi paneer gravy is classified into three simple categories,
the first one is making shahi paneer masala, the second one preparing smooth tomato-onion puree,

Making shahi paneer masala
ย
1. At, first we prepare shahi paneer masala for this halved or cubed cut 6 to 7 medium-sized tomatoes.
ย
2. Similarly chopped or cubed cut 3 to 4 medium size onions.
ย
3. Now Heat 3 to 4 tbsp oil in a pan.
ย
4. spread the oil evenly in the pan.

5. Add 1 tbsp chopped ginger-garlic.
ย
6. Saute in medium flame until the raw smell completely disappears.

7. 2 to 3 vertically sliced green chili saute for another 30 sec.

8. Then, add halved or cubed cut tomatoes,

9. Add cubed cut onions and saute in medium flame for 2 to 3 min.

10. Also add 8 to 10 cashew, almond, 3 to 4 green cardamom and make a quick stir for another 2 to 3 min.

11. Now pour 200 to 250 ml water to boil this mixture until the skin of the tomatoes is easily removed.

12. Add 1 tsp salt and adjust later if required later.

13. For vibrant colour just like restaurant style shahi paneer add 1 tsp kashmiri red chili powder.

Note : If your tomatoes are a little bit tangy then you can add a few tsp of sugars to balance out the flavour, otherwise it is not required.

14. Cover the pan with the lid and simmer for 15 to 20 min.

Preparing smooth pureeย
ย
1. After boiling the mixture when you can easily remove the skins of tomatoes, turn off the flame and cool down the mixture then pour this mixture into a grinder to make a smooth paste.

2. Now strain out this paste from the strainer to eliminate the unblended skins of tomatoes.

3. Though, It is not compulsory but this smooth paste will enhance the flavours of the shahi paneer dish.ย

1. Now, for making the shahi paneer recipe add 2 to 3 tbsp good quality butter in a pan.

2. Always melt the butter on low flame unless it will burn.
ย
3. Now for making an authentic shahi paneer recipe add only a few spices including bay leaf, clove, cardamom, cinnamon, and cumin seed and saute in medium flame for up to 1 min.

4. Furthermore add chopped ginger-garlic, and green chili to the pan.

9. Cook until this shahi paneer sabji becomes thick and butter begins to leave the side of the pan then add a little water cover the pan and simmer for another 7 to 8 min.

10. Finally, mix fresh paneer cubes in this shahi paneer gravy.

11. Stir gently this shahi paneer gravy for 1 to 2 min on low flame.

12. Finally, for restaurant style shahi paneer add 3 to 4 tbsp cream.

- At first, for making shahi paneer masala, halved or cubed cut tomatoes and onions.
- Now, heat a few tablespoons of oil or butter in a pan.
- Then add, chopped ginger-garlic, sliced green chili saute in medium flame until raw smell goes away.
- Next, add tomatoes, onions and saute in medium flame for 2 to 3 min.
- Also add cashew, almond, cardamom, and mix with them.
- Now pour a sufficient amount of water to boil this mixture.
- Next, add a pinch of salt, Kashmiri red chili powder and mix everything.
- If your tomatoes are a little bit tangy then you can add sugar to balance out the flavor, otherwise, it is not required.
- Furthermore, cover the pan with a lid and simmer this mixture for 15 to 20 min.
- Next, for preparing smooth puree, cool down the mixture.
- Then, pour into a blender to make smooth silky shahi paneer gravy.
- Now, for making shahi paneer gravy melt a few tablespoons of butter in a pan on low flame.
- Next, saute bay leaf, clove, cardamom, cinnamon, cumin seed and saute in medium flame for up to 1 min.

- After adding paneer cube in makhani gravy don't cook them long time unless your paneer becomes hard and chewy.
